Kimberly
Ziler

Kimberly Ziler was born and raised in the fairytale-like countryside of Stavanger, Norway. At an early age, Ziler showed a passion for ​the performing arts. At the age of nine, she made her musical theater debut at the Bente og Oli Childrens Theater-School as a Nisse in the musical "Små Nissene," and despite the lack of film opportunity in Norway, at the time, she was cast in a few well-known Norwegian films such as "Få Meg På for Faen" and "Mannen Som Elsket Yngve." Ziler was the type of child who would put on one-woman shows for her elementary school class during recess, and climb on top of desks at the airport in order to sing her heart out for everyone waiting to board their flights. Her extended family never experienced a single holiday where she wouldn't attempt to steal the show with a song or skit. She was constantly looking for a creative outlet and an opportunity to entertain.

As a teenager, Ziler's family moved to Southern California where she attended the Academy of the Performing Arts for four years. During this time Ziler's soul was fueled by pursuing her passions each and every day by studying musical theater and dance. During her time at APA, she performed in over 25 musicals and showcases.

Ziler took a short break from performing to get her B.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Long Beach, and simultaneously had the opportunity to live in in Venice, Italy. Upon returning to the States she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her life-long dream of acting for film, television and voiceover projects. In a short amount of time, Ziler has gotten well accustomed to her new life in LA; taking classes, auditioning, and starring in shorts, feature films, and commercials.

RECENT PROJECTS:

Ziler recently wrapped on a feature that she filmed over the summer in Seattle, WA. She also starred in a short that was filmed at the Baja Studios in Mexico over the summer. In addition, Ziler had the honor of being a part of Action Studios' newest short film 'JOURNEY' that made it into the TOP 20 of the FILM RIOT CHALLENGE. She was also recently interviewed by Will Westwater for his Youtube Channel along with other international actors. In addition she wrapped on her very first international film while lliving in the US, and on top of that, the actress made her producing debut in four separate short films that she simultaneously starred in during the fall. Most recently Ziler had the opportunity to work as an acting double for Kaley Cuoco in the Emmy nominated, HBO series The Fllight Attendant during Season 2.
